Polyurethane rubber can be mixed into two categories, one is polyester polyurethane (AU), the other is polyether polyurethane (EU). AU type has excellent oil, fuel and solvent resistance, but is susceptible to hydrolysis, EU type is not susceptible to hydrolysis, and has considerable fuel and oil resistance compared to low acrylonitrile (18-22% ACN) nitrile butadiene rubber or HNBR. Compared with other elastomers, PU oring made of polyurethane rubber has excellent wear resistance, high tensile strength and high elasticity.
FFKM (Kalrez ring) perfluorine-rubber material is the best rubber material with high temperature resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance and organic solvent resistance among all elastic sealing materials at present. Perfluorinated rubber can resist the corrosion of more than 1600 chemical solvents such as strong acid, strong base, organic solvent, ultra-high temperature steam, ether, ketone, ester, nitrogen compounds, hydrogen carbide, alcohols, aldehydes, furan and amine compounds.
