3-A Overview of health standards
Lanhe O-rings and seals provide 3-A sanitary O-rings for equipment related to dairy production and processing. The 3-A hygiene standard was developed by the U.S. food and dairy industry to set policy regarding the production and use of sanitary devices. 3-A O-rings comply with 3-A Standard 18-03 and relate to multi-purpose rubber and rubber-like materials that are approved for contact with dairy equipment surfaces and dairy equipment cleaning products. The 3-A standard is recognized and followed at the international level.
